Ricardo Ugarte de Zubiarrain. Sculptural voyage

20180601-ugarte_

From June 8 to September 30, 2018

With this exhibition the Naval Museum showcases some of Ricardo Ugarte de Zubiarrain’s maritime-themed artwork.

This sculptor, hailing from Pasajes, uses graphic art and sculpture comprising a range of sea elements, such as bollards, anchors, bows, sails, etc, as a story-telling device.

A highlight of the exhibit is the simplicity of expression, the result of a creative process based on synthesis and sobriety that has characterised this artista throughout the different disciplines that he has cultivated throughout his career.
