Untzi Museoa-Museo Naval, Donostia-San Sebastián, 2018, 64 p., il.
The book (bilingual edition Basque-Spanish) is dedicated to the work of the artist Ricardo Ugarte de Zubiarrain related to the sea. In it, different authors participate. Julia Otxoa García and Mª Soledad Álvarez provide texts on Ricardo Ugarte de Zubiarrain and his work, with special emphasis on his attraction to the sea and his rich maritime imaginary, source of inspiration for the sculptural series of Noris, Anchors, Stern Castles and Prows, all created in steel.
The publication is very visual, and presents photographs of the exhibited works and also of sculptures located in external public places. In the book also includes other works of the artist as graphic works made on craft paper and poems of maritime theme.
The book complements the temporary exhibition "Sculptural voyage" that can be seen in the Naval Museum from June 8 to September 30, 2018.
