The Euskal Itsas Museoa breaks a record in users an visitors this 2022. 22,000 people ha visited the museum doubling the number of visitors compared to the situation before the pandemic with an increase of 55%.

The exhibition "Tromelin. The island of the forgotten slaves" has been the great attraction to visit the museum among the general public and, especially among the foreign public, which has accounted for 30% of the total visitors of the museum. Local visitors have resulted in the 22.73%.
