About “Avisos del Mar”
After years of silence, the Museum has retrieved the peal of the bell to announce events and dates linked to maritime heritage. The objective of this bell-pealing programme is to pass on to society events closely linked to maritime history. Specifically, the “CELEBRATION PEAL” will ring out during the festivities of a number of guilds and institutions of San Sebastián and Gipuzkoa which have had connections to seafaring activities for centuries.
