Publication with a compilation and reappraisal of the visual heritage generated in relation to the world of Basque whaling. In a timeframe that starts off in the Middle Ages and continues up to this century, the book is essentially a compendium of images directly or indirectly related to this theme, although it also contains a significant amount of some of its archaeological relics.
About monographs
The Untzi Museoa carries out an editorial activity (books and brochures) mainly linked to the temporary exhibitions it produces. The effort to maintain a continuous and quality editorial production is, without a doubt, one of the distinctive marks of this Museum.
