The basis of this activity is a whale disguise. Using this and various products we can smell, we will see how important whale-hunting was to the Basques down through history.
Specific goals
- Discovering the characteristics of the Basque or Frankish whale.
- Finding out about the Basques’ whale-hunting and the products they obtained from it.
- Raising awareness concerning the importance of protecting the environment
All our activities are available in Basque, Spanish and English
